Overview
Welcome to Rocker Duck. We craft premium handmade accessories using Italian Viridis leather — a 68% bio-based, PFAS-free material designed for those who refuse to compromise on quality, comfort, or conscience.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern all purchases and interactions with our online store at shop.rocker-duck.com. By placing an order or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
References to "Rocker Duck", "we", "us" or "our" refer to Rocker Duck, a company registered in the United Arab Emirates.
Section 1 — Access & Eligibility
By using our Services, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian. You represent that all information you provide — including your name, delivery address, and payment details — is accurate, current, and complete.
You are solely responsible for the security of your account and all activity carried out under it. Accounts may not be transferred or assigned to any other person.
Section 2 — Our Products & Quality Commitment
Every Rocker Duck product is handcrafted by skilled artisans in Italy using Viridis leather — a premium, bio-based alternative to conventional leather. Each piece is inspected before dispatch to ensure it meets our standards of finish, durability, and comfort.
We make every effort to represent our products accurately through photography and descriptions. Please note that colours may vary slightly depending on your screen calibration and settings. This variance does not constitute a defect.
We reserve the right to discontinue any product or limit quantities at any time. Product descriptions and pricing are subject to change without prior notice.
Materials & Sensitivity
Ecoband is crafted from Viridis, a bio-based vegan leather (68% bio-based, PFAS-free, OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Class 1 certified). Full material composition and certifications are published on our product pages prior to purchase.
As with any material worn against the skin, a small number of individuals may experience sensitivity or irritation. If you have known skin sensitivities, allergies, or a history of contact dermatitis, we recommend reviewing the material composition before purchase, testing the product on a small area of skin before extended wear, and consulting a physician if you are unsure.
To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Rocker Duck accepts no liability for allergic reactions, skin sensitivity, or irritation arising from individual predisposition, where the product's materials and certifications have been accurately and clearly disclosed prior to purchase. This does not affect your rights in respect of products that are defective or not as described.
Section 3 — Orders
When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase. Your order is not confirmed until you receive an order confirmation email from us. Rocker Duck reserves the right to decline or cancel any order at its discretion — for example, in the event of a pricing error, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Please review your order carefully before submitting. Once an order has been confirmed and is being prepared for dispatch, we may not be able to accommodate cancellation or modification requests.
In the event we cancel your order, we will notify you promptly and arrange a full refund of any payment received.
Section 4 — Pricing, VAT & Currency
All prices are displayed in UAE Dirhams (AED) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable UAE rate, unless otherwise stated. Should the VAT rate change between the date of your order and the date of delivery, we will adjust the VAT component accordingly, unless you have already paid in full.
Prices do not include shipping fees, which are calculated and displayed at checkout. We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice. The price confirmed in your order confirmation email is the price you will be charged.
Rocker Duck does not offer VAT refund services for orders placed via the website.
Section 5 — Payment Methods & Cash on Delivery
5.1 Accepted Payment Methods
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Cash on Delivery (COD) for eligible orders within the UAE.
5.2 Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy
COD is available for orders up to AED 500. A non-refundable COD handling fee of AED 15 applies to all COD orders and will be shown clearly at checkout.
If a COD order is not collected or payment is refused upon delivery, the order will be returned to us. In such cases, a non-collection fee of AED 25 will be applied. This fee must be settled before any future orders from the same contact details can be accepted. Repeat non-collection may result in COD being disabled for your account, with prepaid payment methods required for future orders.
5.3 Payment Security
All online payment transactions are processed through secure, encrypted payment gateways. Rocker Duck does not store your full card details. You represent and warrant that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.
Section 6 — Shipping & Delivery
We dispatch orders within 1–3 business days of confirmation. Delivery times are estimates and are not guaranteed. Rocker Duck is not liable for delays caused by courier partners, customs processes, or circumstances beyond our control.
Once your order has been handed to the courier, risk of loss or damage passes to you. We will provide a tracking number so you can monitor your shipment.
We ship within the UAE and internationally. Customers outside the UAE are responsible for any applicable customs duties or import taxes in their country.
Section 7 — Returns & Exchanges
7.1 Eligibility
You may return or exchange an item within 14 days of the delivery date, provided that:
• The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
• All original packaging, tags, and accessories are intact
• The item has not been personalised, customised, or modified
7.2 How to Return
To initiate a return or exchange, please contact us at daniele@rocker-duck.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We will provide return instructions. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item was received damaged or incorrect.
7.3 Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days of us receiving the returned item, to the original payment method. COD orders will be refunded according to collectors policy.
7.4 Damaged or Incorrect Items
If you receive a damaged or incorrect item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you.
Section 8 — Intellectual Property
All content on our website and associated channels — including but not limited to brand name, logo, product photography, copy, and design — is the property of Rocker Duck and is protected under applicable UAE and international intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any of our content without prior written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence or ownership rights over our intellectual property.
Section 9 — Third-Party Services
Our store is powered by Shopify. Your transaction is with Rocker Duck directly; Shopify is a technology provider and is not responsible for any aspect of your purchase.
Our website may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or accuracy of any third-party site. Accessing third-party content is at your own discretion and risk.
Section 10 — Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at shop.rocker-duck.com/policies/privacy-policy. By using our Services, you acknowledge and accept the terms of our Privacy Policy.
By providing your contact details, you consent to us using them to process your order, communicate regarding your purchase, and — where you have opted in — send you marketing communications. You may unsubscribe at any time.
Section 11 — Prohibited Uses
You may use our Services for lawful personal purchases only. You may not use our Services to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe on our or any third party's intellectual property; transmit false or misleading information; engage in fraudulent activity; use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access our website; or resell our products commercially without authorisation.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our Services at any time and without notice if we believe these Terms have been violated.
Section 12 — Disclaimer of Warranties
While we take every care to ensure the quality and accuracy of our products and content, our Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by UAE law, Rocker Duck makes no warranties, express or implied, regarding the uninterrupted availability of our website, the accuracy of product descriptions, or the fitness of products for any particular purpose beyond their intended use.
Section 13 — Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable UAE law, Rocker Duck shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages arising from your use of our Services or products. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
This limitation extends to claims arising from individual sensitivity or allergic reaction to product materials that were accurately disclosed prior to purchase, as set out in Section 2.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by UAE law.
Section 14 — Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rocker Duck, its officers, employees, and partners from any claims, losses, or damages — including reasonable legal fees — arising from your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your misuse of our Services.
Section 15 — Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates and, to the extent applicable, the laws of the Emirate of Dubai.
Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of our Services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE. We encourage you to contact us first at daniele@rocker-duck.com — most concerns can be resolved quickly and directly.
Section 16 — Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be published at shop.rocker-duck.com/policies/terms-of-service. We will notify you of material changes by email or a prominent notice on our website. Your continued use of our Services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
